EVENT & ASSET MANAGER

We are looking for a highly organised, hands-on and responsible Event & Asset Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our event venue, events, facilities and company assets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Event & Venue Management

• Manage event enquiries, site visits and client requirements
• Coordinate events from initial planning through setup, event day and teardown
• Prepare event schedules, floor plans, checklists and operational requirements
• Liaise with clients, event planners, caterers, decorators, AV teams and other vendors
• Supervise venue setup and ensure the venue is event-ready
• Be the main operational contact during events
• Handle last-minute changes and resolve operational issues professionally
• Conduct pre-event and post-event venue inspections
• Ensure events comply with venue rules, safety requirements and operating procedures

Sales & Client Coordination

• Conduct venue tours for prospective clients
• Prepare quotations and follow up on enquiries
• Coordinate bookings, deposits and event requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, agencies and event organisers
• Work towards venue booking and revenue targets

Asset & Facilities Management

• Maintain a complete asset register for furniture, equipment, AV systems and other venue assets
• Monitor movement, condition and location of company assets
• Conduct regular asset inspections and stock counts
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs
• Monitor air-conditioning, electrical systems, lighting, plumbing, AV equipment and general facilities
• Coordinate contractors, technicians, cleaners and maintenance vendors
• Maintain the venue in excellent condition at all times

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Facilities Management, Business Administration or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in events, venue operations, hospitality or facilities management
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and client-handling skills
• Able to manage vendors and contractors confidently
• Able to work independently
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and public holidays when events are scheduled
• Possess own transport and able to travel when required
