Job Description

MediaTek‘s CPV team is responsible to ensure the design quality of the integrated circuit layout for our chips. We have unique career opportunities for student interested in applying their software skill towards verifying the chip design with cutting edge process technology. We are looking for those with talent and ambitious to innovate the way we verify the electrical and logical functionality and manufacturability of layout design. Students who are eager to get involved with industry most advance semiconductor process technology are a perfect fit for our team. Students will be involved in software research and development focused on Machine Learning (ML) in the Physical Verification domain. The development will help to predict/analyze of trends and anomaly detection in physical verification area [What’s in it for you?]

• Design, develop and improve machine learning system
• Work closely with Data engineer on Data and ML pipelines
• Study, transform, convert and select data sets
• Visualize data for deeper insights
• Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
• Run machine learning tests and experiments
• Train/retrain ML models/system when necessary
  
  

Main Requirements and Qualifications

• [What you will bring]
• Currently enrolled in your BSc/MSc from reputable university
• Proficiency in Python and hands on experience with Python libraries such as NumPy, pandas, matplotlib
• Excellent communication skills, self motivated and well organized
• Can do attitude, willing to learn and always curious
• Experience in using ML framework (Scikit learn, Pytorch TensorFlow, Keras is a plus
• Knowledge with SQL database, MongoDB and cloud infrastructure (GCP) is a plus
• Coursework related to integrated circuit design or semiconductor physic is a plus
