Role Overview

The company is an AI-powered B2B healthcare and life sciences procurement marketplace connecting hospitals, labs, and research institutions with suppliers across Southeast Asia and Australia. The Product Manager owns the roadmap and execution of the company’s core platform — including the Enterprise Procurement Platform (EPP), marketplace features, and supplier/buyer-facing tools — translating commercial and operational needs into shippable products.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, commercial strategy, and customer needs, ensuring the platform scales reliably as the company expands into new markets and onboards larger enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Platform & Marketplace Feature Ownership

Own the roadmap for core marketplace functionality: multi-vendor order management, supplier portals, real-time inventory sync, search and discovery, payment splitting

Prioritize features based on commercial impact, technical feasibility, and customer feedback

Drive continuous improvement of supplier onboarding and catalog management tools

2. Enterprise software management & Custom Integrations

Manage the product requirements for enterprise-specific features (e.g., custom procurement workflows, approval chains)

Oversee integration capability with customer systems (ERP, punchout, Ariba, healthcare specific systems, and similar procurement systems)

Balance reusable "standard platform" features against bespoke, customer-specific builds — working closely with commercial teams on what's core vs. custom

3. Cross-Functional Requirements Translation

Convert commitments made during sales/RFQ processes into clear, buildable product requirements

Partner with BD/Commercial to ensure what's sold is technically deliverable, and flag risk early when it isn't

Work with Operations to ensure supplier onboarding, compliance documentation, and fulfilment workflows are reflected in platform design

4. Data, Analytics & Reporting Features

Own product requirements for operational and commercial dashboards (supplier performance, GMV, take rate, fulfillment metrics)

Drive development of AI-powered features (product recommendations, demand forecasting, automated supplier matching) as the roadmap matures

Ensure data structures support both internal reporting needs and customer-facing analytics

5. Multi-Market Product Localization

Adapt platform functionality to support country-specific regulatory and operational requirements (e.g., the regulated/non-regulated product distinction across markets)

Work with regional teams to validate procurement workflows before and during new market launches

Prioritize localization work (language, compliance fields, local payment/logistics needs) alongside core roadmap

6. Engineering Partnership & Delivery

Translate business requirements into specs engineering can execute against

Manage sprint priorities and roadmap sequencing with the engineering team

Own the feedback loop between regional operators/customers and the HQ engineering team

What Success Looks Like

Platform reliably supports multi-country, multi-vendor order flows without manual workarounds

New enterprise integrations (ERP, punchout systems) ship on time and match what was commercially promised

Supplier and buyer onboarding friction decreases measurably over time

Product roadmap is driven by data (usage, performance, GMV impact), not just ad hoc requests

New market launches have platform readiness in place ahead of commercial ramp-up

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience building B2B marketplace or procurement platform products

Comfortable working across ambiguity — this is a growth-stage company without fully mature product processes

Strong technical fluency to work directly with engineering, without needing to code

Highly independent learner that takes accountability for their work and output

Experience with enterprise integrations (ERP, punchout/Ariba, or similar B2B procurement systems) is a strong plus

Data-driven approach to prioritization — comfortable defining and tracking product metrics
