Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Outlet Supervisor to manage the daily operations of our F&B outlet.
The candidate will be responsible for supervising employees, maintaining service and food-quality standards, reconciling daily sales, managing cash collections, monitoring inventory and ensuring compliance with company SOPs and hygiene requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the outlet’s daily opening, operating and closing activities.
- Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and service teams.
- Supervise, guide and monitor the performance of outlet employees.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure sufficient manpower for every shift.
- Conduct staff briefings and assign daily responsibilities.
- Train new employees on company SOPs, customer service, food safety and hygiene.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline and grooming.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, portion size and service standards.
- Ensure the outlet is clean, organised and ready for daily operations.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.
- Monitor daily sales performance and work towards achieving outlet targets.
- Perform daily POS closing and verify all sales transactions.
- Ensure the daily POS sales report tallies with the actual sales received for every payment method, including cash, credit/debit cards, QR payments, e-wallets and delivery platforms.
- Verify cash collections, payment-terminal settlements and supporting transaction records.
- Investigate and report any shortage, overage, incorrect payment entry or sales discrepancy immediately.
- Ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly and properly documented.
- Bank in daily cash sales accurately, promptly and in full according to the company’s prescribed schedule.
- Submit bank-in slips, daily sales reports, settlement reports and supporting documents to the Accounts Department on time.
- Ensure proper cash-handling procedures and internal controls are followed.
- Monitor stock levels and prepare stock orders according to operational requirements.
- Conduct stock counts and verify stock received from suppliers or the Central Kitchen.
- Monitor ingredient usage, stock transfers, damaged items and wastage.
- Investigate and report stock shortages or unusual variances.
- Control food costs, labour costs and other outlet operating expenses.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food-safety requirements, hygiene standards and halal requirements.
- Ensure all licences, certificates and outlet records are properly maintained.
- Report equipment breakdowns, maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly.
- Work closely with the Area Supervisor, Head Office, Accounts, HR, Purchasing and Central Kitchen teams.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly operational reports.
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the Area Supervisor or management.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum SPM, Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, F&B Management or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in the F&B industry.
- Candidates without relevant F&B operational experience will not be considered.
- Good knowledge of outlet operations, POS systems, cash handling, payment reconciliation, stock control, food safety and hygiene.
- Able to reconcile daily sales across cash, cards, QR payments, e-wallets and delivery platforms.
- Able to supervise, train and motivate outlet employees.
- Honest, responsible and trustworthy when handling company cash.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Able to prepare basic sales, cash and operational reports.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
- Possession of a valid food-handler certificate and typhoid vaccination is required or must be obtained before commencing work.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
