We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer for the end-to-end design of industrial cold rooms. You will transition between engineering design and active, under-construction project sites and ensure the proper installation, testing, and commissioning of large-scale cold storage facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1) System Design:

• Calculate cooling loads, heat gains, and equipment capacities.       

• Generate detailed P&IDs, piping layouts, and 3D models.

• Specify compressors, evaporators, condensers, and expansion valves.

• Design panel layouts, underfloor insulation, and pressure relief vents.

2) Site Survey: visit raw, under-construction or ready sites to measure dimensions and verify constraints.

3) Design Validations: Inspect on-site installations to ensure builders strictly follow drawings.

4) Technical Support: Resolve engineering design clashes discovered during the active installation phase.

Working conditions:

1) Environment: Time divided between an office desk and construction sites.

2) Mobility: May require travel & overnights to various regional or overseas project locations.

3) Physical Demand: Ability to climb scaffolding and walk rugged site terrain.

4) Safety: Wearing full PPE is mandatory during frequent site inspections which will be provided by the company.

Required Qualifications:

1) Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

2) Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in mechanical engineering or related field.

3) Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in technical work

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects

4) Site Adaptability: Comfortable walking unconditioned, active construction zones for field verification.
