Position: Functional Tester

Mandatory skills; Manual Testing, UAT Testing, Test Automation, Test Management, Agile Testing, Banking

Competencies and Skills:

• Diploma or Degrees in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field.

• Relevant Work Experience

• Manual Testing, Test Automation, Test Management, Agile Testing, Banking (especially Internet Banking)

• Agile or UAT-related certifications (added advantage).

• 2–6 years of UAT, QA or business testing experience.

• Exposure to banking or digital platforms preferred.

Job Specification:

• Competencies/Skills

• Technical/Functional skills

• Ability to develop test conditions and expected results based on the application requirements

• Strong attention to details - able to document and follow detailed instructions within test scripts as well as defects tracking documents (i.e., steps to recreate the problem)

• Understanding of testing concepts and how testing fits in with the overall project life cycle

• Strong knowledge in Banking

• Able to handle assignment independently with minimum supervision

• Technical knowledge in banking applications

• Must be familiar with Agile testing and DevOps methodologies.

• Personal skills

• Good email Etiqutte and communication skills

• Fast learning

• Able to work under pressure
