Laundry Supervisor

Location: Washville Laundry, Kota Damansara
Job Type: Full-Time

Washville Laundry is looking for a responsible and hands-on Laundry Supervisor to oversee our daily laundry operations and ensure orders are completed properly, on time and according to our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily laundry operations, including washing, drying, ironing, folding, dry cleaning and packing.
• Plan and distribute daily tasks among team members.
• Ensure customer orders are processed correctly and completed within the required timeline.
• Check the quality and condition of garments before and after cleaning.
• Ensure stains, damages, colour bleeding or other garment issues are properly identified and reported.
• Make sure special customer instructions are followed.
• Monitor pickup and delivery orders and coordinate with runners when required.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and operational issues professionally.
• Train and guide staff on proper laundry procedures and SOPs.
• Ensure machines, equipment and working areas are kept clean and properly maintained.
• Monitor laundry supplies and inform management when restocking is required.
• Ensure proper tagging, sorting and handling of customer items to prevent mix-ups or missing items.
• Maintain daily operational records and report any issues to management.
• Assist with counter and general shop operations when required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, retail operations or a supervisory role is an advantage.
• Able to lead and manage a small team.
• Responsible, organised and attentive to detail.
• Able to communicate well with customers and staff.
• Good problem-solving skills and able to handle operational issues independently.
• Willing to be hands-on and assist the team during busy periods.
• Able to follow and enforce company SOPs.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Basic computer and WhatsApp skills.
• Training will be provided.

We are looking for someone who can manage the shop's daily operations, can lead the team responsibly and maintains a high standard of cleanliness, service and garment care.

Salary: Based on experience and skills.
