About the Roles

We are seeking a Process Engineer (Operations) to join a Waste Management & Materials Recovery organization in Tuas. This permanent role offers a structured Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM work schedule, with company transport provided and a competitive package including basic salary, transport allowance, AWS, and variable bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze existing processes, gather operational data, and evaluate performance metrics, including SCADA system operations, to support digital transformation initiatives.
• Perform process and operational risk assessments to identify potential improvements and mitigation measures.
• Develop and implement process enhancements to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall workflow.
• Monitor and coordinate facility operations and maintenance activities to maintain reliable process performance.
• Establish effective operational frameworks, workflows, and process arrangements to support business needs.
• Lead the rollout of new processes, systems, and operating procedures across operations.
• Investigate and resolve process, procedural, and operational challenges to minimize disruptions.
• Create standard practices, operating routines, and improvement solutions to enhance production efficiency, throughput, and output quality.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and cost requirements to ensure successful execution.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) activities and participate in HAZOP studies.
• Manage plant shutdown activities as the turnkey manager, including planning, coordination, execution, and completion.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience within the process industry.
• Good understanding of process engineering standards, process improvement methodologies, and safety management practices.
• Strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and communication capabilities.

License/Certification:
