Responsibilities
Manage main contracts, subcontracts, procurement agreements and project commercial documentation.
Review contractual terms, tender documents and specifications.
Identify contractual, operational and commercial risks.
Prepare and manage notices, variations, EOT claims, loss and expense claims and contractual correspondence.
Coordinate progress claims, payment responses, variation orders, subcontractor claims and final accounts.
Monitor contractual deadlines and obligations.
Support negotiations with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
Maintain proper contract records, correspondence and claim substantiation.
Support tenders and contract negotiations.
Assist with contractual disputes and project close-out.
Guide junior QS/contracts staff where required.
Requirements
Relevant Degree or Diploma.
More than 8 years of relevant contracts, commercial or quantity surveying experience.
Strong construction contract and subcontract administration knowledge.
Experience with progress claims, variations, EOT claims and final accounts.
Strong contractual drafting and negotiation skills.
Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
M&E construction or infrastructure experience is preferred.
