With the endorsement of the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, Manipal International University underwent a name change to MILA University in 2023.

Marketing & Student Enrolment team is currently seeking for an intern under the Social Media unit.

Internship Duration: Starting October 2026

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media & Digital Content Support

• Video Production: Conceptualize, script, film, and edit engaging video content for major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu, and LinkedIn.

• Creative Asset Creation: Create high-quality, thumb-stopping Reels, Shorts, motion graphics, and video advertisements to support university marketing and enrollment campaigns.

• On-Campus Shooting: Lead or assist in photography and videography sessions on campus, capturing student life, events, and campus highlights.

• Cross-Unit Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Marketing Communications & PR unit to develop creative content that drives brand awareness and lead generation objectives.

• Trend Hunting: Stay highly updated on digital content trends, trending audio, platform best practices, and emerging video formats to keep our content fresh and viral-ready.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Creative Media, Multimedia Design, Film/Video Production, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proficient in smartphone videography and mobile/desktop editing tools (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Canva).

• Active on social media (TikTok, Instagram, Xiaohongshu) with a good understanding of what makes content viral or engaging.

• Good communication skills; ability to confidently interview students or speak on camera if needed is a huge plus.

• A strong portfolio or links to past video/creative work (if available).
