We are looking for a responsible, organized and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our luxury pre-owned automotive company.

You will be assisting with the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including sales and purchase transactions, invoices, payments, expenses and general accounting administration.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting and bookkeeping entries
• Record vehicle sales, purchases, expenses and payments
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and related documents
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Check and verify invoices and supporting documents
• Monitor customer payments and outstanding balances
• Process supplier and company payments
• Perform bank reconciliation and assist with monthly accounts closing
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and documentation
• Keep proper records for vehicle purchases and sales
• Assist with payroll and statutory matters such as EPF, SOCSO and EIS
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, banks and other parties when required
• Assist the management team with basic financial reports and administrative tasks
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as required

Requirements

• SPM, Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Well-organized, responsible and able to work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to handle confidential financial information
• Experience in the automotive or car dealership industry is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
