Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our International School on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for primary and/or secondary students.
  • Teach and coach sports such as football, futsal, netball, volleyball, badminton, basketball, athletics, and other school sports.
  • Prepare and coach students for MSSD, MSSS, inter-school tournaments, and other competitions.
  • Organise and manage Sports Day, tournaments, house competitions, and school sporting events.
  • Develop school sports teams and identify students with sporting potential.
  • Promote teamwork, discipline, leadership, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles.
  • Ensure student safety during lessons, training, and competitions.
  • Maintain sports equipment and facilities.
  • Support co-curricular activities and other school programmes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Sports Management, Sports & Recreation, Education, or related field.
  • Teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, Diploma in Education, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant PE teaching or sports coaching experience.
  • Strong experience in handling school sports events and competitions.
  • Experience with MSSD/MSSS or similar competitive sports events is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of multiple sports, including rules, techniques, coaching, and training methods.
  • Good classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Able to join in September 2026.

Added Advantage: Candidates with recognised sports coaching, refereeing, First Aid/CPR, or sports-related training certificates will be highly preferred.
