About the role

A general labour role assisting journeymen in various crafts including assembling, electrical work, driving and material handling. The role involves preparation of materials, equipment setup, and support across production activities while maintaining high standards of workplace safety and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of material for assembling by cutting or grinding using pipe cutters, hammer and chisel, cutting torch, and/or grinder
• Assist in placing the Work In Progress (WIP) cut parts and materials in safe and good condition
• Clean the work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary
• Assist fitter to perform grinding work on fit up preparation by holding and securing the fabrication parts in position for assembling
• Assist in the repairing of products by dismantling, straightening and reshaping
• Set up equipment and assemble parts
• Assist in installing, maintaining and operating all instruments and measuring devices needed for assist production functional
• Assist experienced craft worker in preparation of materials, tools, equipment for production
• Perform daily housekeeping to maintain high standard of cleanliness at workplace
• Observe and adhere to proper work practices in accordance to environmental, safety and health requirements

About you

• High School qualification
• No experience needed
• Able to perform any combination of the general labor tasks
• Knowledge in Quality Management System (QMS), Environmental Management System (EMS) and Occupational, Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) – Value Added

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
