1. Job Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, repacking and delivery preparation. This role ensures smooth workflow, accurate inventory control, proper supervision of warehouse staff and compliance with company procedures.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Warehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatch
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are checked and recorded accurately
- Monitor stock movement and ensure proper stock arrangement (FIFO where applicable)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times
B. Repacking / Packing Operations
- Supervise pet food repacking process to ensure quality and consistency
- Ensure correct weight, labeling and packaging standards are followed
- Minimize wastage, damage and contamination during repacking
C. Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate stock records (manual or system)
- Conduct monthly stock count and ensure records are updated accurately
- Plan, coordinate and lead yearly stock take (full inventory audit)
- Perform periodic spot checks on selected items
- Investigate, report and resolve any stock discrepancies
- Ensure proper documentation of all stock movements (in/out/adjustments)
- Coordinate closely with sales/admin on stock availability
D. Team Supervision
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff (attendance, discipline and performance)
- Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed on time
- Train new staff on warehouse procedures, packing standards and safety
- Ensure proper teamwork and communication within the team
E. Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate with delivery team for order preparation and dispatch
- Ensure all orders are prepared accurately and on time
- Monitor loading process to avoid errors or damages
- Handle returns and damaged goods properly
F. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safe handling of goods and equipment
- Enforce safety rules and proper working practices
- Maintain a clean, organized and hazard-free working environment
- Report any accidents, hazards or unsafe conditions immediately
G. Reporting
- Prepare and submit daily / weekly warehouse operation reports
- Submit monthly stock count report to management
- Submit yearly stock take summary report, including variance analysis
- Highlight operational issues and propose improvement actions
3. Requirements
- Minimum SPM / Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2–3 years experience in warehouse operations
- Experience in supervising a team is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of inventory control and stock management
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Responsible, disciplined and good leadership skills
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
