Requirements:

a) Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or its equivalent.

b) 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity implementation, operational support, or security technologies within ICT environments.

c) Exposure to cybersecurity assessment, technical review, system implementation, or security project activities in an IT environment is an added advantage.

d) Professional Certification Advantage:

• CompTIA Security+
• Firewall Product Certification (Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Ato, etc.) or equivalent network security certification
• Network Product Certification (CCNA, CCNA Security, etc.)
• Any equivalent cybersecurity, network security, or server-endpoint security-related certification

Technical Competency:

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts, standards, frameworks, and security best practices within IT environments.
• Basic experience or exposure in IT infrastructure, network communication, or cybersecurity environments.
• Technical exposure in areas such as Network Security (LAN/WAN/VPN/Wireless), Firewall, IAM/AD, Endpoint Security, Vulnerability Management, Infrastructure Security, Database Security, or basic encryption and authentication concepts is an added advantage

Job Responsibilities:

• Support IT security architecture review activities and assist in identifying security gaps and improvement areas.
• Participate in IT Cybersecurity Design review activities.
• Assist in technical design review, system integration, testing, deployment, and documentation activities related to IT systems.
• Support IT security advisory and coordination activities with Cyber Security teams, project teams, vendors, and business units.
• Support evaluation and assessment of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and services, and assist in providing technical recommendations.
• Support implementation activities in accordance with IT cybersecurity standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
