Role Overview

We are deploying a QA/QC Manager to lead our quality assurance processes. This role involves developing and enforcing quality standards across projects, monitoring key metrics, and collaborating with engineering and construction teams. We require a leader to drive continuous improvement in product quality and team performance.

Contract Duration: 12 months

This is a contract role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the QA team in developing and implementing quality assurance processes and strategies.

Develop and enforce quality standards and procedures.

Monitor and analyse key quality metrics to track product performance.

Collaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to integrate quality standards.

Oversee planning and execution of audits, inspections, and tests.

Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test plans and reports.

Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities for QA staff.

Oversee daily QA department operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Lead the development and execution of manual and automated testing strategies.

Perform risk assessments and mitigate quality risks throughout the product lifecycle.

Monitor testing progress, defect trends, and product performance.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company policies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.

Conduct periodic team performance reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure all product releases meet defined quality criteria.

Identify and implement new tools and technologies to enhance QA processes.

Manage and mentor the QA team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Stay updated on industry trends, methodologies, and regulatory changes.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Management, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in quality assurance (QA).

2+ years of experience in a QA management role (QA Manager, QA Lead, or similar).

Demonstrated experience managing QA teams, including training and performance management.

In-depth knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and frameworks.

Experience developing and managing automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or QTP.

Experience with performance testing, load testing, and security testing.

Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Proven ability to implement QA processes within an Agile environment.

Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
