Role Description The Production Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Bayan Lepas, responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations on the production floor. This role coordinates production schedules, allocates resources, and monitors workflow to ensure output meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Production Supervisor leads and coaches production teams, conducts shift briefings, and supports training to maintain high performance and adherence to procedures. The role also involves tracking production metrics, resolving operational issues, collaborating with cross-functional departments, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance management, and coaching.
  • Candidates should possess skills in production schedules and production planning to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of orders.
  • Candidates should possess production management capabilities, including monitoring output, implementing processes, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication skills for clear coordination with team members, peers, and management.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing or medical device production, preferably in a regulated environment.
  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and quality systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to analyze production data, solve problems, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
