Position Overview:
The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring full regulatory, customer, and corporate compliance across CREW-managed facilities, site services, and engineering operations. This role acts as the primary CREW representative for all external and internal audits, ensuring audit readiness, strong governance, and seamless coordination with stakeholders.
The position requires a proactive leader who can drive compliance culture, manage audit frameworks, and ensure all documentation, systems, and site conditions consistently meet required standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Regulatory & Compliance Governance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local regulations, corporate policies, and international standards related to facilities, engineering, environmental, occupational health & safety, and site services.
- Develop, implement and continuously improve compliance frameworks, procedures, and control systems.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation across CREW operations.
- Maintain a robust compliance register for statutory requirements, licenses, and permits.
- Host auditors during site visits, ensuring clear communication, transparency, and professional engagement, providing accurate responses to audit inquiries.
- Own and drive closure of audit findings including root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
Customer & External Stakeholder Compliance
- Act as the key interface for compliance-related engagements with customers and external stakeholders.
- Ensure customer-specific requirements are incorporated into CREW processes and services.
- Support customer audits, assessments, and reporting requirements with high-quality deliverables.
- Build strong relationships to enhance confidence in CREW’s compliance capabilities.
Site Readiness & Audit Preparedness
- Ensure facilities and service areas are maintained in a continuous “audit-ready” condition.
- Conduct internal audits, mock audits, and compliance inspections aligned with protocols.
- Implement structured audit readiness programs covering engineering systems & facilities infrastructure.
- Drive visual compliance standards including labeling, safety signage, and documentation boards.
Documentation Control & Compliance Systems
- Establish and enforce document control systems compliant with standards, ensuring:
- Controlled SOPs, policies, and procedures
- Maintenance and calibration records
- Inspection and testing logs
- Contractor/vendor compliance documentation
- Ensure traceability, version control, and accessibility of documents during audits.
- Digitize and standardize compliance records where applicable.
IFM KPI / CPI Governance & Audits
- Monitor IFM KPI and CPI audit frameworks across all service providers.
- Conduct periodic performance audits to validate service delivery against contractual KPIs and CPIs.
- Identify gaps in vendor performance and drive corrective actions with measurable outcomes.
- Ensure alignment between compliance requirements and IFM service delivery standards.
- Provide data-driven insights and reports on service performance, risks, and improvement areas.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Identify compliance risks across facilities, engineering, and site services operations.
- Develop mitigation plans and track effectiveness of controls.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement through audit findings, benchmarking, and best practices.
- Support business continuity and risk preparedness initiatives related to compliance.
Stakeholder & Reporting Management
- Provide regular compliance status reports, audit results, and risk updates to CREW leadership.
- Ensure accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting for management reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, EHS, Procurement, HR, Legal).
- Maintain transparency and accountability in all compliance activities.
Leadership & Culture
- Promote a strong compliance culture across all CREW teams and vendors.
- Coach and guide teams on audit preparedness and regulatory expectations.
- Foster collaboration, accountability, and high-performance standards.
- Lead by example with strong ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Compliance, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in compliance, audit management, facilities, or engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, audit processes, and IFM service models.
- Proven experience managing external audits and stakeholder engagements.
- High attention to detail with a structured and systematic approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
