Seeking an experienced Electrical Tech Lead to drive switchgear, generator, protection & controls product development and technical design across large-scale data center projects, working closely with vendors, engineering teams and commissioning partners.

Role: Electrical Tech Lead – Singapore / Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical product development and technical design discussions with multiple vendors.
• Review vendor drawings, schematics, calculations and technical documentation.
• Provide red-line comments, resolve design issues and drive document closure.
• Review electrical schemes and wiring for protection, metering and controls.
• Validate equipment/component sizing, calculations, thermal performance and derating.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC standards, EMEA/APAC regulations and project specifications.
• Support commissioning, testing scripts, CX planning and onsite troubleshooting.
• Review constructability, cable entry/exit, material selection and field termination requirements.
• Drive resolution of site issues, field failures and recurring technical/design bugs.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Mechanical, Thermal, Controls, Network, EHS, CSA and commissioning teams.
• Lead technical discussions with suppliers, consultants and contractors.
• Support Design for Manufacture (DFM) and off-site manufacturing initiatives.
• Perform QA/QC and peer reviews using Google Workspace, ACC and 3Dx.
• Support design optimization, scope development, change management and technical documentation.
