Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur.

The Civil Engineer will design and develop civil engineering solutions that support sustainable water management, including infrastructure related to stormwater systems, reclamation facilities, and distribution networks. Daily responsibilities include preparing engineering designs and drawings, performing calculations, assisting with planning and feasibility studies, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing contractor submissions, monitoring project progress on-site, and supporting quality, safety, and environmental requirements throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills, with the ability to produce detailed plans, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Experience as Civil Engineers with practical exposure to infrastructure projects and engineering project delivery.
• Planning skills, including project scheduling, resource coordination, and support for feasibility and master planning activities.
• Water and Wasterwater Management expertise, including design of drainage systems, flood mitigation measures, and sustainable urban water solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional registration or eligibility for registration is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of local and international engineering standards, building codes, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar), and MS Office tools.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and sustainability.
