We have an Immediate Opening Group IT Incident & Risk Lead with our reputed Client.

Client Location Petaling Jaya, 46200 Selangor.

Experience: 7+ years

Required Skills:

· Incident Management at enterprise scale (ITIL v3/v4)

· Problem Management discipline and root cause analysis

· IT Risk Management (ISO 31000, COBIT, NIST)

· Calm authority and command on high-severity incident bridges

· Executive-grade written and verbal communication

· Analytical thinking and evidence-led decision making

· ITSM tooling (ServiceNow or equivalent)

· Collaboration across Assurance, Change and Engineering functions

Key responsibilities:

Incident Management (tactical):

· Own and continuously improve the incident management process, runbooks, severity matrix and communications standards.

· Act as Incident Manager (or escalation point) for high-severity events; coordinate technical bridges, stakeholder communications and executive updates.

· Chair Post-Incident Reviews; ensure root cause is identified and actions are SMART, owned and tracked to closure.

· Maintain the incident on-call roster and ensure appropriate coverage and escalation paths.

· Feed thematic patterns to the Assurance Lead for systemic review.

Problem Management:

· Establish and run the Problem Management practice; convert incident trends and PIR outputs into tracked problem records.

· Drive known-error reduction and permanent fixes with engineering and platform teams.

· Report on problem ageing, backlog and value delivered (incidents avoided, MTTR reduced).

IT Risk Management:

Own the Group IT risk register; ensure risks are identified, assessed, treated and reviewed in line with the Group risk framework and appetite

Facilitate risk workshops with technology and business stakeholders; challenge ratings and controls.

Consolidate IT risk reporting into ExCo, Risk Committee and Audit Committee papers; deputise for the Senior Manager on reporting where required.

Maintain linkage between risks, controls (Assurance Lead), changes (Change Lead) and incidents (this role).

Governance & ways of working:

· Hand off incident themes and recurring control weaknesses to the Assurance Lead for systemic assessment; act on the recommendations that come back.

· Partner with the Change Lead so that change-induced incidents feed CAB risk weighting and pre-implementation review.

· Contribute to policy and standards ownership for Incident, Problem and IT Risk Management.

· Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by your manager.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor degree in a relevant field

· ITIL v4 (Managing Professional or equivalent) preferred

· Risk certification (CRISC, ISO 31000) regarded

· 7+ years in IT operations, service management or technology risk, with 3+ years owning Incident or Problem Management at Group / enterprise level
