Project Supervisor – Johor Bahru
We are an established Interior Design and Renovation company seeking committed, responsible, and experienced individuals to join our team for ongoing and upcoming projects based in Johor Bahru.
Employment Type
- Permanent position with 6 months probation.
- Probation may be extended or employee may be confirmed based on performance, punctuality, discipline, responsibility, attitude, and operational requirements.
- Medical Leave (MC) entitlement is provided in accordance with company policy and applicable employment requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in architectural, interior fit-out, renovation, or construction site supervision.
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on site coordination skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willing to travel and work outstation throughout West Malaysia when required.
- Valid driving licence and own transportation.
- Personal laptop for work purposes.
- Responsible, punctual, disciplined, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Able to report to the assigned site or office on time; travelling distance or traffic should not affect punctuality.
- No Work From Home (WFH) unless approved by Management.
- Any act of dishonesty, misconduct, negligence, or breach of company policies may result in immediate termination of employment.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site operations, subcontractors, and manpower.
- Monitor site activities, workmanship, project progress, and overall site coordination.
- Coordinate material deliveries and project requirements.
- Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and schedules.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Conduct daily site inspections and report progress/issues to the Project Manager.
- Monitor site safety, PPE, housekeeping, and compliance with safety requirements.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and safety issues.
- Maintain and update V.O. records and submit reports to the Project Manager or Contracts Department.

- Material Delivery & Usage Records
- Subcontractor Work Log
- Site Safety Checklist
- V.O. Records and Work Done Verification
- Manpower & Equipment Log
Working Hours
- Monday to Saturday.
- Saturday: Half-day.
- Total working hours: 45 hours per week.
- Overtime will be paid in accordance with company policy.
- When there is no site assignment, employee is required to attend and work at the office during standard working hours.
- No Work From Home arrangement unless approved by Management.
- Employees are expected to remain contactable for urgent project matters when required.
Attendance & Working Location
- Check-in and check-out via the designated Company WhatsApp Group.
- Check-in/out must be made at the assigned project site when working on site.
- When there is no site work, employee must attend the office and follow standard working hours.
- Employees are responsible for planning sufficient travelling time to ensure punctual attendance.
- Travel time, traffic, weather, road conditions, or commuting delays are not considered working time.
Outstation Assignment
- Willingness to travel and work outstation throughout West Malaysia when required.
- Accommodation for approved outstation assignments will be arranged or borne by the company.
- Employees are expected to report directly to the assigned project site during outstation assignments.
Vehicle Maintenance & Allowance
- Official workshop invoices are required for reimbursement.
- Company reimburses 50% of normal servicing, battery replacement, and tyre repairs.
- Major repairs, including engine repairs, are not claimable.
Fuel & Toll
- Shell Petrol Card provided for official project-related travel only.
- Fuel usage for non-working days is not allowed unless approved by Management.
- Toll claims must be supported by the official toll transaction statement.
- Touch 'n Go reload/top-up receipts are not claimable.
Additional Information
- Physically fit and willing to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- High level of commitment, punctuality, discipline, responsibility, and professionalism is required.
- Must be willing to handle site supervision, coordination, safety, and office duties when required.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
