We seek a Mechanical Services Design Engineer to support HVAC and mechanical services designs, collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions from concept through detailed design.

We seek a Mechanical Services Design Engineer to support HVAC and mechanical services designs, collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions from concept through detailed design.
Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC and mechanical services design development through concept, schematic, and detailed stages to ensure project success
- Prepare design briefs, engineering calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation to support project requirements
- Perform cooling load calculations, system sizing, and HVAC system modeling to optimize system performance
- Conduct hydraulic analysis and size air and water distribution systems for efficient mechanical service delivery
- Develop HVAC system schematics and design solutions throughout the project lifecycle to meet client and regulatory standards
- Design Building Management System (BMS) architecture, specifications, control strategies, and sequences of operation for integrated building control
- Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project integration
- Support technical design reviews to verify compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 2-5 years of relevant mechanical experience, preferably within an engineering consultancy or design environment
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and associated mechanical building services
- Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of assigned deliverables
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality engineering work
