Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, organized and service-oriented Receptionist / Front Desk Executive to manage our front desk and provide professional support to visitors, employees and daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily front desk and reception duties, including greeting and welcoming visitors and guests.
- Handle incoming calls, enquiries and correspondence professionally and courteously.
- Attend to visitors and direct them to the appropriate employee or department.
- Provide accurate and basic information to visitors and callers, as well as via email when required.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and presentable reception area, ensuring necessary stationery, forms and materials are available.
- Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail, documents and deliveries.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing courier services.
- Monitor visitor access and maintain office security by following established procedures and maintaining the reception logbook.
- Manage the ordering and replenishment of office supplies, stationery, pantry items, PPE and other general office requirements.
- Handle daily newspaper tender-related matters and assist with website/online tender portal activities.
- Maintain and update office calendars, contact lists and telephone directories.
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties such as filing, photocopying and document handling.
- Assist in ensuring the office and common areas are clean, organised and well-maintained.
- Assist with food serving and table setup for Board of Directors and VIP guests during meetings, lunches or dinners.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
- Willing to work on weekends and perform overtime when required based on operational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in reception, front desk, administration or a similar role.
- Pleasant personality with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, courteous and customer-service oriented.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages will be an advantage.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Responsible, punctual and well-presented.
- Willing to assist with general office and hospitality-related duties when required.
- Flexible to work weekends and overtime when necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
