Job Description
Responsible for producing professional photography for weddings, corporate assignments, events, campaigns, studio productions and other company projects, while also completing photo selection, colour correction and editing. This is a hands-on production role requiring strong technical ability, visual consistency, teamwork and readiness to work on location.
Key Responsibilities / Job Scope
- Photograph weddings, corporate events, campaigns, studio sessions, portraits, products and other assigned productions.
- Operate professional camera bodies, lenses, flash and continuous lighting equipment safely and confidently.
- Prepare and check camera, lighting, batteries, memory cards and other equipment before every assignment.
- Work according to the company's creative direction, shot list, client brief and production schedule.
- Direct subjects when required to achieve professional posing, composition and natural expressions.
- Capture both essential coverage and creative supporting images suitable for client delivery and social media content.
- Perform photo culling, selection, colour correction, exposure adjustment, cropping and basic retouching.
- Maintain BudakTadika's required visual quality and consistent editing standards.
- Export, organise, name, upload and archive files according to the company's workflow and storage SOP.
- Assist with same-day transfer, preview selections or urgent edits when required by a project.
- Work closely with videographers, editors, creative team, production crew and project lead on set.
- Assist with production setup, lighting, equipment movement and breakdown as part of the team when necessary.
- Take proper care of company equipment and immediately report damage, loss or technical issues.
- Be available for weekend, evening, outstation and event-based assignments according to the company's work schedule.
- Perform other reasonable photography, editing or production duties assigned by management.
Requirements & Preferred Skills
- Strong practical photography skills with a professional portfolio.
- Good understanding of exposure, composition, lenses, lighting, flash and colour.
- Proficient in Adobe Lightroom; Photoshop or equivalent photo-editing skills are an advantage.
- Experience with Canon camera systems is preferred due to the company's production workflow.
- Able to work efficiently under time pressure and in fast-moving event environments.
- Able to follow creative direction and company SOP while contributing useful ideas.
- Good file-management discipline and understanding of backups/data handling.
- Professional attitude when dealing with clients, artists, VIPs and production partners.
- Team-oriented, punctual, physically able to handle normal production equipment and willing to assist beyond camera operation when required.
- A valid driving licence and ability to travel for assignments are an advantage.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
