Position

Freelance SAC Accredited Auditor Specialization: ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System (FSMS) & HACCP

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct 1st Party, 2nd Party, and 3rd Party audits in accordance with ISO 22000 and HACCP requirements.
• Perform document reviews, audit planning, on-site audits, and audit reporting.
• Evaluate compliance with food safety management systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Identify non-conformities and provide professional recommendations for continual improvement.
• Prepare audit reports and submit audit findings within stipulated timelines.
• Participate in witness audits, surveillance audits, recertification audits, and special audits when assigned.
• Maintain professional integrity, impartiality, and confidentiality throughout audit activities.
• Support clients in understanding certification requirements and industry standards.

RequirementsMandatory Qualifications

• SAC Accredited Auditor qualification for ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System.
• Certified HACCP Auditor or equivalent recognized food safety auditing qualification.
• Successfully completed an IRCA, Exemplar Global, or SAC recognized Lead Auditor Course for ISO 22000.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore food safety regulations and food industry practices.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Food Safety Management Systems, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Food Manufacturing, Food Processing, Catering, Food Services, or related industries.
• Proven experience conducting ISO 22000 and HACCP audits.
• Experience in food manufacturing, central kitchens, food processing facilities, logistics, cold chain, retail food operations, or food packaging sectors would be advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional audit qualifications in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, FSSC 22000, GMP, BRCGS, or Halal Management Systems.
• Experience as Lead Auditor for certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
• Familiarity with Singapore Food Agency (SFA) requirements and international food safety standards.
