Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team in the machinery manufacturing industry.
The Project Engineer will work closely with the Project Manager to coordinate and support the planning, execution and completion of EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) projects. The role covers the full project lifecycle, including engineering design, procurement, construction, equipment installation, commissioning and trial operation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing EPC projects from project initiation through to completion and handover.
Coordinate engineering design, procurement, construction, equipment installation, commissioning and trial operation activities.
Work closely with internal departments, project teams, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, schedules, deliverables and site activities.
Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to ensure materials, equipment and technical requirements are delivered according to project schedules.
Support the review of engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documentation.
Assist in resolving technical and project-related issues during project execution.
Coordinate equipment installation, testing, commissioning and trial operation activities.
Monitor project quality, progress and compliance with project requirements.
Prepare and maintain project reports, documentation and progress updates.
Perform other project-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum
3 years of relevant experience as a Project Engineer in industrial projects

Proven experience in the execution and coordination of
EPC projects
, preferably covering the full project lifecycle.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
and familiar with construction modelling software and/or energy simulation modelling software.
Good understanding of engineering design, procurement, construction and equipment installation processes.
Experience in project coordination, contractor management and site coordination will be advantageous.
Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and project documents.
Strong project coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Rest Days
8 days per month

Annual Leave: 7 days, increasing up to 14 days based on company policy and length of service.
