The Opportunity

AVM Capital is a Singapore-based investment management firm operating a discretionary global macro hedge fund. We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Hedge Fund Operations Analyst to join our lean, performance-driven team.

This is a hands-on role with exposure across the full operational lifecycle of a hedge fund. You will work closely with the trading and investment teams and take ownership of processes that directly support portfolio management, trading activity and fund operations.

What You Will Do

You will support the daily operational infrastructure of the fund, including trade capture and verification, settlement, cash and position reconciliation, NAV oversight and operational reporting.

You will work with prime brokers, custodians, fund administrators and other counterparties to resolve breaks, investigate discrepancies and ensure that trading and investment activities are accurately reflected across operational systems.

The role will also involve monitoring portfolio cash balances, supporting corporate actions, assisting with investor and regulatory reporting, maintaining operational records and strengthening internal controls.

As part of a small investment team, you will also have opportunities to improve processes and introduce automation where appropriate. Experience with Python, VBA, Excel or other automation tools will be highly valued.

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of relevant experience in hedge fund operations, investment management operations, middle office or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of the full trade lifecycle.
• Experience with reconciliation, settlement, NAV and portfolio operations.
• Knowledge of listed derivatives and OTC instruments.
• Strong Excel skills; Python or VBA experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Enfusion or similar portfolio / investment management systems is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve operational issues.
• Good understanding of financial markets and investment products.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: SGD 4,500 – SGD 5,500/month

The final package will be determined according to relevant experience, technical capabilities and seniority.

Performance Bonus: 1–3 months’ salary annually, subject to individual performance, fund performance and company policy.
