Job Description

• Monitor daily production activities to ensure smooth operation according to the production plan
• Support troubleshooting of machines and production lines during breakdowns or process issues
• Verify and follow up on issues reported by operators and q leaders / supervisors
• Ensure machine parameters and settings are maintained according to defined standards
• Monitor product quality (e.g., diameter, surface condition) and take immediate action for any out-of-spec conditions
• Coordinate with QA/QC on quality-related issues and inspections
• Ensure all SOPs and Work Instructions are strictly followed by operators
• Support continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, productivity)
• Support trial runs for new materials, processes, or machine settings
• Assist in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with requirements
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Provide training and guidance to operators on proper work methods and standards
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as daily reports, NCR, and CAPA
• Support implementation of best practices from other plants
• Work closely with Supervisors in identifying, communicating, and resolving internal operational issues to ensure stable and efficient production performance.
• Ensure all bobbins are properly scanned before moving to the next process or WIP
• Verify scanner status and ensure any NG bobbin is clearly identified and segregated
• Instruct operators to label NG bobbins with PR sticker and place them in designated areas
• Follow up and verify bobbin status (OK/NG) before release for further processing
• Investigate and resolve issues related to incorrect or missing scanning records
• Coordinate with relevant teams to improve bobbin tracking and traceability system
• Other duties assign by immediate superior as and when required.

BASIC SKILLS/ EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing Engineering / electrical engineering or related technical qualifications is a must
• Fresh graduate intend to grow career in engineering field is encouraged to apply
• Possess practical, engineering mindset when trying to solve engineering issues
• Ability to work with people with diverse background and culture
• Pleasant attitude, willingness to learn, apply and explore new knowledge
• Ability to identify abnormalities and ensure accuracy in production tasks.
• Effective communication to report issues, ask questions, and understand instructions.
