About the Role

GoViral Digital Sdn Bhd is looking for a creative and versatile Social Media Content Creator who can transform ideas into engaging content for different brands and digital platforms.

This is a hands-on role covering content planning, copywriting, photography and videography, video editing, graphic design, branding and social media management. You will work closely with our creative, account and marketing teams to produce content for GoViralLab and our clients.

The successful candidate will receive direct training and guidance from our General Manager and CEO, providing valuable exposure to creative strategy, client management, branding, marketing and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare monthly social media content calendars.
• Research content trends, competitors and target audiences.
• Develop creative content ideas based on each client’s brand, objectives and target market.
• Write captions, headlines, advertising copy and other marketing content.
• Plan and conduct photo and video shoots.
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook and other digital platforms.
• Design social media posts, advertisements, presentations and marketing materials.
• Create and adapt branding materials while maintaining brand consistency.
• Manage clients’ social media accounts, including scheduling and publishing content.
• Support digital campaigns, promotions and other marketing activities.
• Coordinate with the creative, account and marketing teams to complete assigned work.
• Manage multiple client accounts and meet agreed deadlines.
• Review content carefully before submission or publication.
• Make amendments based on internal and client feedback.
• Monitor social media trends and recommend relevant content opportunities.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Advertising or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant experience in content creation, social media management, graphic design or digital marketing is an advantage.
• Able to plan content, write copy, shoot videos, edit videos and create designs.
• Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant social media platforms.
• Proficient in creative tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar software.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to understand different brand identities and adapt content accordingly.
• Creative, organised, responsible and attentive to detail.
• Able to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Open to feedback and willing to revise work when required.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.

AI Content Skills

Experience using AI tools for content creation is an added advantage.

Candidates who know how to create or generate AI videos using tools such as Veo, Runway, Kling, Sora, HeyGen, Magnific or similar platforms will be highly preferred.

Portfolio Requirement

A portfolio is compulsory for this position.

Your portfolio should include relevant examples of:

• Social media content
• Branding or graphic design
• Copywriting or captions
• Short-form videos or video-editing work
• Content calendars or marketing campaigns, if available
• AI-generated videos, if available

Applications submitted without a relevant portfolio may not be considered.

Interview and Assessment Process

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.

Candidates who proceed after the interview will be given a practical assessment to evaluate their creative thinking, content planning, copywriting, design and content-execution skills.
