Job Summary

The Proposal Executive is responsible for supporting the Business Development team by preparing and coordinating proposal submissions, tender documents, and related business materials for oil & gas projects. The role ensures timely, accurate, and competitive proposals that align with client requirements and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze tender documents, RFQs, and ITBs for scope and requirements.
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals, pre-qualification documents, and tender submissions.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Finance, HR, HSE) to gather input for proposals.
• Compile cost estimates, pricing, and commercial offers in line with company guidelines.
• Ensure proposals comply with client specifications, deadlines, and industry standards.
• Maintain a database of proposals, templates, and client requirements.
• Assist in market research, competitor analysis, and identifying new business opportunities.
• Support Business Development team during client meetings, clarifications, and presentations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in proposals/tendering, preferably in oil & gas (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered).
• Familiarity with oil & gas tendering process and contract requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of ERP systems or MS Project is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written & spoken).
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

• Office-based, with occasional site visits or client engagement.
• Willing to work extended hours when required to meet tender deadlines.

• Familiarity with technical specifications, engineering processes, and project management methodologies in the oil and gas sector.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
