We are looking for
Training Manager
Job Summary
To lead our hotel’s Learning & Development activities and ensure our employees receive effective training to deliver excellent guest service and meet hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the hotel’s annual training plan.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis and identify employee development needs.
- Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding programmes.
- Conduct training on guest service, hotel standards, SOPs, grooming and communication skills.
- Work closely with Department Heads to identify operational training requirements.
- Organise leadership and supervisory development programmes.
- Coordinate mandatory training such as fire safety, food safety, first aid and workplace safety.
- Conduct and evaluate training programmes to ensure effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate training records and prepare training reports.
- Monitor training budget and expenditure.
- Coordinate external trainers and training providers when required.
- Promote a positive learning and development culture across the hotel .
Requirements
- Possess a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, Training & Development or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the hospitality industry in the same capacity with 4 Star or 5 Star international class hotel.
- Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multi-culture environment.
- Good knowledge of hotel operations and service standards.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills with self-motivator, creative and passionate to lead by example.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRIS System and online resources.
- Passionate about employee development and delivering service excellence.
- Knowledgeable of Malaysia Employment Act 1955 and Labour Ordinance (Sabah Cap. 67) is an added advantage.
