Tanggungjawab
- Assist in reviewing HV/MV design documents, including single-line diagrams, protection schemes, earthing designs, and cable schedules
- Review/Perform basic calculations such as cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit levels, and earthing checks
- Prepare and update AutoCAD drawings and as-built records
- Support preparation and tracking of TNB submissions, including technical documents, drawings, and approval applications
- Assist in following up TNB requirements for interconnection facilities, such as the main intake substation (PMU/PPU), metering, protection, and SCADA/telemetry
- Take part in coordination meetings with TNB and consultants, and record action items
- Assist in supervising installation of HV/MV equipment, including switchgear, transformers, cabling, cable terminations, earthing, and protection panels
- Verify installation follows approved drawings, specifications, and method statements
- Check material deliveries against specifications and record any discrepancies
- Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and photo records
- Assist in preparing test checklists and witness tests such as insulation resistance, cable high-voltage testing, protection relay testing, earth resistance, and transformer tests
- Support TNB pre-energisation inspection and commissioning, including punch-list close-out
- Compile test reports and handover documents
- Comply with site safety rules, PPE requirements, and permit-to-work procedures
- Report unsafe conditions and incidents promptly
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or major of Electrical study
- Good understanding of power systems fundamentals (HV/MV networks, protection, earthing)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Proactive, disciplined, and willing to learn in a site environment
- Comfortable working outdoors and in substation or site conditions
- Must have own transport and be willing to be locate at project sites
- Hands-on exposure to HV interconnection projects and TNB processes
- Mentorship from experienced project engineers
- A strong foundation for a career in power systems and project delivery, with possible consideration for a full-time position
