Position Title: Recreation Attendant

Department: Recreation

Reports To: Recreation Supervisor / Recreation Manager

Primary Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests using recreation facilities such as swimming pool, gymnasium, kids club, and other leisure areas.
• Monitor guest activities to ensure safety and compliance with hotel policies.
• Prepare, set up, and maintain recreational equipment and facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections of recreation areas and report maintenance issues.
• Provide towels, amenities, and equipment to guests as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all recreation facilities.
• Explain facility rules, operating hours, and available activities to guests.
• Support the organization and execution of recreational programs, events, and activities.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally.
• Ensure high standards of guest service in accordance with Marriott brand standards.
• Assist in recording daily attendance and activity reports.
• Follow all safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, fitness, or customer service is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Basic swimming knowledge and first aid certification are advantageous.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
