Role Description This is a full-time, on-site KYC / Anti-Money Laundering Executive role based in Subang Jaya. The role involves performing customer due diligence checks, verifying customer identities, and reviewing documentation to ensure compliance with KYC and AML regulations. The Executive will monitor transactions and account activities for suspicious patterns, escalate potential issues, and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies as needed. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, updating customer profiles, supporting audits, and collaborating with customer service and finance teams to resolve KYC-related queries. The role also requires staying informed about current regulatory requirements and internal policies, and contributing to process improvements that enhance risk management and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer information, identify irregularities, and support risk-based decisions.
- Effective communication and customer service skills to engage with customers and internal teams in a clear, professional manner.
- Foundational understanding of finance, including basic banking or financial products relevant to KYC and AML processes.
- Experience or training in due diligence, including document verification, background checks, and compliance reviews.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and report preparation.
- Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment and meet deadlines under regulatory and operational timelines.
- Proficiency with standard office software and familiarity with KYC/AML systems or compliance tools is an advantage.
- Relevant academic background in finance, business, law, or a related field preferred; prior experience in KYC, AML, or compliance is beneficial.
