About Us:

Yee Ping Trading Sdn Bhd is a logistics company specializing in the transportation of palm oil products, including Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and Palm Kernel (PK), from oil mills to refineries. With a commitment to safety, efficiency, and reliability, we play a vital role in supporting the palm oil supply chain. We are seeking for an experienced and responsible Lorry/ Truck Mechanic to join our workshop team. Candidates with strong hands-on experience in Nissan and Mercedes Benz heavy duty trucks are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform regular servicing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of company lorries and trucks.

· Diagnose and repair mechanic problems involving diesel engines, gearbox, clutch, braking systems, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and other truck components.

· Carry out minor and major mechanical repairs, including engine repairs and overhauls where required.

· Identify faulty components, recommend necessary replacements, and inform management of required spare parts.

· Attend to vehicle breakdowns and carry out roadside or emergency repairs when required.

· Maintain cleanliness safety, and proper organization of the workshop tools.

Requirements:

· Minimum 3-5 years of working experience as a lorry/ truck mechanic or in a similar role.

· Hands-on experience in heavy-duty diesel engine repair and maintenance.

· Experience with Nissan and/or Mercedes-Benz trucks is highly preferred.

· Good knowledge of diesel engines, gearbox, clutch, brake systems, suspension, steering, and differential systems.

· Able to perform mechanical troubleshooting and repairs independently.

· Responsible, hardworking, punctual, and safety-conscious.

· Willing to work overtime or attend emergency breakdowns when required.

Employment Terms:

· This position includes a 3-month probation period

· Salary will be reviewed upon successful completion of the probation

· Working hours: Monday – Saturday 8am to 5pm

· Expected start date: ASAP
