Part Time Retail Associate

Oak & Sand is a Singapore bedding and bedroom brand specialising in crafted bedding, hotel supplies and bed frames. We are looking for a friendly and reliable part-time retail associate to serve customers at our studio.

Starting pay

$12 per hour during probation

After probation

Rate review, with the potential to increase up to $15 per hour

Commitment

Ideally 4 to 5 shifts per week

The role

Your main focus is exemplary customer service. You will learn our products, explain them clearly and help customers complete their purchases. Technical product training will be provided. There are no individual sales targets and no hard selling.

• Welcome customers and provide attentive service
• Learn the features and technical details of our products
• Help customers choose suitable products and complete checkout
• Create content during quieter store periods, where possible

Working hours

• Weekday shifts are currently around 2pm to 6pm, approximately 4 hours
• Weekday timings may change when the studio extends its opening hours to 8pm
• Weekend shifts are approximately 6 hours
• Sunday availability is compulsory. Saturdays depend on the roster, and some weeks may require both days

Who we are looking for

• Friendly, approachable and comfortable speaking with customers
• Reliable, willing to learn and able to commit to the roster
• Students are welcome to apply
• Content creation experience is preferred, including photography, short-form video, appearing on camera or editing Reels and TikToks
