About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on and strategic HR HOD to drive operational excellence and build robust systems across IMAN — a dynamic company of 50–100 employees.

In this role, you’ll oversee all HR operations — from policy, payroll, and performance management to culture and compliance — ensuring every process runs smoothly and every team member is set up for success.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and refine HR policies, SOPs, and compliance with Malaysian labour laws.
• Lead manpower planning, recruitment, and job design for growing departments.
• Manage compensation, benefits, and allowance structures to stay competitive and fair.
• Drive the performance management process and ensure consistency across all functions.
• Handle industrial relations and disciplinary matters with professionalism and accuracy.
• Monitor HR metrics, reports, and data systems to support management decisions.
• Plan and manage HR budgets, payroll coordination, and non-current assets.
• Oversee company retreats, training programmes, and internal engagement initiatives.
• Develop and guide the HR team to maintain strong execution and compliance standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing HR operations for a medium-sized company (50–100 staff).
• Strong understanding of labour laws, compensation planning, and HR frameworks.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive leader who can balance people, processes, and performance.
