• Deliver insightful and innovative teaching across diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate ICT-related programs.
• Lead and supervise research projects across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, fostering a culture of inquiry and discovery.
• Drive scholarly research initiatives, contributing actively to the university’s research agenda.
• Develop, innovate, and refine courses to reflect cutting-edge industry trends and meet accreditation standards.
• Play a pivotal role in curriculum development and academic governance.
• Forge and nurture partnerships with industry entities, facilitating research collaborations and internship opportunities for students.
• Mentor and guide junior faculty members, promoting an environment of academic excellence and growth.
• Contribute significantly to policy development and strategic planning within the School of ICT.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of curriculum and instructional materials across programs and levels.
• Deliver high-quality teaching including lectures, tutorials, labs, and assessments, ensuring strong learning outcomes.
• Provide academic consultation and mentoring to students.
• Continuously improve teaching, training, and mentoring practices.
• Support the Faculty’s learning, teaching, and academic initiatives.
• Supervise honours, postgraduate, and doctoral students.
• Participate in research training, contribute to research group development, and expand collaborative research networks.
• Uphold high academic, ethical, and professional standards.
• Contribute to the administration and enhancement of academic programs.
• Engage with industries and professional sectors to strengthen partnerships.
• Demonstrate leadership in academic, research, professional, and community activities that align with the Faculty’s goals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline, supported by a strong academic track record.
• Demonstrated excellence in university-level teaching and curriculum design.
• Established research profile with a record of high-impact publications and success in securing competitive research grants.
• A proven track record of high-quality, impactful research and recognized leadership in research.
• Experience in developing effective academic-industry partnerships is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Pay: RM19,000.00 - RM32,000.00 per month
