Role Description The Technical Product Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Puchong. This role involves providing pre- and post-sales technical support for analytical instruments, including installation, calibration, demonstrations, and user training. The specialist will troubleshoot technical issues, coordinate maintenance and service activities, and work closely with the sales team to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing technical documentation, supporting application development, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product features and industry standards. The role also requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate instrument performance, and support application development.
• Effective communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly, preparing documentation, and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Technical support experience, including instrument installation, calibration, user training, and customer assistance.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting to diagnose equipment issues, perform basic repairs or adjustments, and coordinate further service when needed.
• Sales-related skills to collaborate with the sales team, understand customer requirements, and align technical solutions with business opportunities.
• Degree or diploma in a relevant field such as Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or related scientific discipline.
• Experience with laboratory instruments or analytical technologies is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Shah Alam, manage multiple tasks, and travel to customer locations when required.
• Comfort with using standard office software and, ideally, instrument software or data analysis tools.
