Job Description
JANCHI is looking for a responsible and motivated Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
Supervise and coordinate Front-of-House (FOH) staff and daily manpower deployment.
Ensure smooth service operations and maintain high standards of customer service.
Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
Assist with staff scheduling, attendance monitoring, and manpower planning.
Train, guide, and support new and existing team members.
Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with company policies and SOPs.
Conduct daily opening and closing procedures.
Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are properly maintained.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control and ordering.
Handle cashiering, POS operations, and daily sales reconciliation when required.
Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving sales targets and controlling operating costs.
Assist with promotions, reservations, events, and other operational requirements.
Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore F&B regulations and company requirements.
Take charge of restaurant operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.
Perform other operational and administrative duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements
Previous experience in F&B, restaurant, or hospitality operations is preferred.
Supervisory or team-leading experience will be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good leadership and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-service oriented with a positive and responsible attitude.
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to the operational roster.
Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and restaurant operations is preferred.
Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
