Job Summary
As a childcare teacher, you will design and deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities that foster children's development. You will apply diverse teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes and collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities
Design and develop age-appropriate lessons and teaching materials that engage children and support their developmental milestones
Apply diverse teaching methods such as storytelling, media, games, music, and arts and crafts to enhance children's abilities and learning experiences
Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate educational activities and share best practices for continuous improvement
Manage classroom time efficiently to ensure smooth delivery of lessons and activities
Communicate clearly and effectively with children, parents, and team members to support children's learning and well-being
Adapt teaching approaches with patience and flexibility to meet diverse children's needs
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages children's curiosity and growth
Use creativity and organizational skills to maintain engaging and well-structured classroom settings
Demonstrate passion and commitment to advancing early childhood education and development
Required competencies and certifications
Possess requisite qualifications in early childhood education as per ECDA
