Job Responsibilities
The Radiographer performs variety of general and special radiological procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity, and to produce radiograph of highest quality / standard and of good diagnostic value at minimal radiation exposure.
Key roles
- Adhere strictly to rules and regulations on radiation safety to patients and staff, and ensure safety of patient before, during and after the procedure by providing the necessary care and constant monitoring of patient’s condition.
- The practice shall apply the ALARA principle (as low as reasonably achievable) to each radiological procedure performed, which aim to minimize radiation exposure.
- Monitor and ensure the accommodation and environmental conditions as required by the relevant imaging specifications (including regulatory requirements where they influence the quality and safety of medical imaging services.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment in procedure room and the whole department.
- Collaborate with Radiologists / Doctors and other care units to ensure all procedures are carried out in a timely, safe and competent manner, and patients are treated according to the priority of their clinical needs.
- Provide patient education and conduct patient assessment.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Medical Imaging/Radiography
- Fresh graduates are encourage to apply
- Able to work in Melaka
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
