About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Project Management experience to join a multi-year Finance Transformation program within a leading Wealth Management banking environment in Singapore.

The project focuses on transforming Finance reporting across regions and entities and consolidating data onto a global Finance platform.

You will work closely with Finance stakeholders in Europe and Asia, technology teams, application SMEs, solution architects, and business users to define requirements, assess system and data impacts, drive implementation, and ensure successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Technology Business Analyst / Finance SME, assessing the impact of accounting and Finance changes on core banking systems and financial reporting.
• Work with Group Finance and regional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
• Lead workshops with business and technology stakeholders to understand business needs and challenge requirements where appropriate.
• Conduct application impact analysis and assess data flows, interfaces, and dependencies.
• Define and document business requirements, functional specifications, data mappings, and use cases.
• Ensure functional and data mappings align with both local and Group Finance requirements.
• Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, and production implementation across the full project lifecycle.
• Work with technology teams, developers, solution architects, and application SMEs to design functional solutions.
• Manage business requirements consolidation and obtain formal validation from sponsors / Product Owners.
• Maintain the project demand backlog and support release planning based on estimates and delivery capacity.
• Prepare project governance materials and monitor project progress against agreed deliverables.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, bottlenecks, dependencies, and project challenges.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and arbitration where required.
• Drive deliverables through the full lifecycle: Elaboration → Build → SIT → UAT → Production.
• Coordinate stakeholders across Asia and Europe to ensure timely and successful delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within banking or financial services technology.
• Strong experience in Wealth Management or Private Banking environments.
• Strong functional knowledge of Accounting, Finance Reporting, and Finance processes.
• Hands-on experience with areas such as:
• Financial Accounting / General Ledger
• Financial Reporting
• Finance closing and reconciliation
• Data quality and data reconciliation
• Data mapping and impact analysis
• Liquidity Management
• Credit Risk / Collateral / Counterparty Risk
• Regulatory Reporting
• Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements and producing detailed functional specifications.
• Experience working throughout the full IT project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, workshops, development, SIT, UAT, and implementation.
• Good understanding of Wealth Management investment product lifecycles and financial services information flows.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across multiple countries / regions.
• Experience working with business users, developers, solution architects, and application SMEs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, multi-stakeholder environment.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience transitioning from Business Analyst into Project Management / Delivery Management.
• Knowledge of Basel IV / SA-CCR.
• Experience with core banking systems, particularly loan and deposit lifecycles.
• Experience with Finance transformation or global Finance reporting programs.
• Experience working with European headquarters / Group Finance teams.
