Job Summary

• Job Title: Field Service Engineer (FSE)

• Industry: Semiconductor Capital Equipment / Ion Implantation

• Location: Serangoon, Singapore / Customer Sites

• Working Hours: 5 days/week, 9am–6pm

• Work Arrangement: Customer-site / field-based; standby duty + occasional OT

• Benefits: AWS + Performance Bonus + Transport Allowance 

Main Responsibilities

• Perform installation, startup, diagnosis, troubleshooting, service, and repair of semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

• Troubleshoot complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, robotic, computer, and software systems.

• Perform equipment assembly rebuilds and preventive maintenance (PM).

• Coordinate with factory, customers, technical support, design engineering, and manufacturing engineering.

• Read and work with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Ensure customer facilities and support equipment are ready for installation.

• Support installation of equipment modifications, upgrades, and service contracts.

• Provide customers with guidance on preventive maintenance activities.

• Prepare field service reports and engineering action requests.

• Maintain semiconductor equipment technical knowledge and follow cleanroom, ISO, safety, and service procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering or related discipline.

• 3–4 years of relevant experience; candidates with <3 years can be considered for entry-level grades.

• Semiconductor equipment experience is preferred.

• Ion Implant technology / equipment knowledge is a strong advantage.

• Strong troubleshooting ability across electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, robotic, and software systems.

• Able to read schematics, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.

• Good customer-facing and communication skills.

• Able to work independently at customer sites and handle standby / occasional OT.

• Good Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
