We are looking for a
Finance Executive / Specialist
to join our Finance team on a
1-year fixed term contract
. This role will support the day-to-day finance operations, month-end closing, partner reconciliations and statutory audit activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
As a Finance & Accounting Executive /Specialist, you will assist in:
General Ledger
Prepare journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, reclassifications and provisions, in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure the chart of accounts is applied accurately and consistently.
Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve reconciling items promptly.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of schedules and supporting documentation.
Partner Reconciliation
Perform regular reconciliations of partner, related-party and intercompany accounts, including accounts receivable and accounts payable balances.
Prepare and circulate partner and intercompany balance confirmations, and follow up with counterparties to ensure timely responses.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during reconciliation and confirmation processes.
Audit Support
Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation for statutory audits.
Respond to auditor requests by providing reconciliations, general ledger extracts and supporting documentation.
Assist the Finance team in tracking and resolving outstanding audit queries.
What You Should Have
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
1 - 4 years' experience in finance or accounting. Experience in general ledger accounting, reconciliations and month-end closing will be an advantage.
Working knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. Xero or similar ERP/accounting software) and Microsoft Excel.
Experience supporting statutory audits or working with external auditors is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Well-organised, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Able to commit to a 1-year fixed-term contract.
