Job Description:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the EHS management system, policies, procedures, and compliance documentation in line with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
• Manage environmental, occupational health and safety, and regulatory compliance matters, including permits, assessments, audits, and inspections.
• Maintain accurate EHS documentation and records, including safety inspection reports, training records, hazardous waste records, and chemical safety documentation (MSDS/SDS).
• Liaise with DOSH and other relevant regulatory authorities and coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance activities.
• Conduct EHS training, employee safety awareness programmes, toolbox briefings, and emergency response drills.
• Perform regular workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification to prevent accidents and minimize unsafe conditions.
• Monitor compliance with PPE requirements, machine guarding, fire safety, hazardous chemical storage, GHS, and CLASS regulations.
• Manage contractor and visitor safety requirements, including safety inductions, briefings, and work permit approvals for high-risk activities such as hot work and working at height.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Must be a registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) in Malaysia.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant EHS experience, with experience in the electronics manufacturing industry preferred.
• Good knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and its amendments, Environmental Quality Act (EQA) 1974, and Factories and Machinery Act (FMA) 1967.
• Able to independently prepare and submit regulatory and environmental compliance documents, including environmental impact assessments, discharge permits, and other relevant applications.
• Proficient in implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) standards.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
