Job Objectives :

1. Responsible for programming, setting up, and operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality wooden components and products according to drawing requirements.

2. Demonstrate comprehensive machinery knowledge, program and set up CAM software toolpaths and optimize cutting sequences such as b_SOLID,B_NEST and programming DXFs into CNC Machining program

3. Comprehensive knowledge in interpret technical drawings, blueprints and design specification to create CNC programs for wood machining

4. To perform machinery setup calibration by installing appropriate cutting tools based on the requirement of each project and adjust machine settings to achieve precision and quality in the finished products

5. To perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and address any defect or discrepancies if necessary

6. To conduct thorough reviews of CNC programs to identify potential errors or improvement.

7. Perform test runs and quality check to ensure the finished products meet design specifications.

8. To participate and work closely with design and engineering teams to understand project requirements and provide input on manufacturability

9. Provide technical support to operators and troubleshoot issues related to CNC programming and machining

10. Collaborate on the development of prototypes and contribute insights for design improvement

11. Collaborate with production teams, machinists, and design engineers to optimize manufacturing processes and address any technical challenges

12. Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure safety at the top priority

Job Requirements :

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as CNC Machining job, strong technical expertise, and hands-on experience with assigned machinery and process

2. Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Mechanical or equivalent

3. Proven work experience as a CNC Machining and programming, specializing in wood materials

4. Proficiency in CNC programming language (G-code,M-code) and CAM software

5. Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints

6. Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials and machining process

7. Able to work independently and a good team player

8. Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills

9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details
