SAP ABAP Developer

Whitehall Resources are looking for an SAP ABAP Developer. This role is fully remote working for an initial 6–12-month contract. Candidates must be based in either Malaysia, Vietnam, or Indonesia.

Job Description:

The client requires support in the SAP area through nearshore and offshore resources. The task involves the rollout of an existing template to additional plants. The main focus of the work will be on customizing; however, development skills are required throughout the project. Therefore, we are not looking for purely customizing-focused profiles without a development background.

Required Modules (End-to-End Supply Chain)

• MM (Materials Management)

• SD (Sales & Distribution)

• PP (Production Planning)

• EDI (Electronic Data Interchange / Interfaces)

• EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)

• QM (Quality Management)

Ideally, candidates should have experience in several of the modules mentioned above, as the processes are interconnected end-to-end as part of the traditional supply chain.

Professional Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP Developer (not only as a key user or consultant without a development background)

• Very good customizing skills in at least one of the modules mentioned above, ideally combined with a basic understanding of ABAP for more in-depth adjustments

• Experience with template rollouts or multi-site/multi-plant projects is an advantage

• Experience with EDI interfaces (mapping, monitoring, troubleshooting) for the respective role
