SUMMARY


We are looking for a Senior Technical System Analyst to work closely with senior management and the technical team

on software planning, system analysis, documentation, integration, project coordination, and process improvement.


TECHNICAL SKILLS

Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements

Prepare technical documentation, workflows, system diagrams, API specifications, and functional or technical

requirements

Translate business ideas and requirements into actionable development tasks and implementation plans

Work with developers, vendors, and external technology partners to coordinate technical delivery

Review proposed technical solutions, source code, integrations, and system designs to identify gaps, risks, and

improvement opportunities

Support the design and implementation of software applications, APIs, databases, and system integrations

Track project progress, dependencies, issues, risks, and deliverables

Support system integration, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and implementation activities

Assist with technical investigations, root-cause analysis, and resolution of production or system issues

Maintain proper documentation of system changes, technical decisions, processes, and configurations

Use appropriate automation, AI-assisted tools, templates, and workflows to improve analysis, documentation,

communication, and project delivery efficiency

Assist management in evaluating technical options, development approaches, implementation priorities, and

opportunities for process improvement

Follow up proactively to ensure technical tasks, issues, and deliverables are completed on time

Apply appropriate judgement when using AI-generated outputs by validating accuracy, security, privacy, technical

feasibility, and compliance with company requirements

Using AI assistants for research, summarising information, drafting documentation, analysing requirements, generating

checklists, and preparing meeting notes

Using AI tools to support software development, code explanation, debugging, test-case generation, SQL assistance,

API analysis, and technical troubleshooting

Writing clear, structured, and context-rich prompts to obtain useful and reliable results

Breaking complex tasks into smaller steps and refining prompts based on the required output

Providing relevant context, constraints, examples, expected formats, and acceptance criteria when prompting AI tools

Reviewing, testing, and validating AI-generated content, code, recommendations, and technical documentation before

use

Using AI tools responsibly without exposing confidential, personal, proprietary, security-sensitive, or regulated

information

Comparing AI-generated recommendations with official documentation, system requirements, project constraints, and

expert judgement

Creating reusable prompts, templates, workflows, and standard operating procedures for recurring tasks

Using AI and automation tools to improve productivity while maintaining accuracy, accountability, and quality control

Understanding the limitations of AI, including hallucinations, outdated information, bias, security risks, and incorrect

technical assumptions

ROLE OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in software development, system integration, technical analysis,

and modern productivity tools, including AI-assisted software and research tools. They should be able to translate

business requirements into clear technical plans, improve work efficiency through appropriate tools and automation,

and coordinate execution across internal teams and external partners.

REQUIREMENTS

Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related

field. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in system analysis, software development, technical project

coordination, solution design, or a related role. Demonstrated experience working on software projects from

requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. Previous hands-

on experience with programming, scripting, API integration, database development, or software troubleshooting.

Experience preparing technical specifications, system documentation, process flows, data mappings, and

implementation plans. Experience coordinating with software developers, internal stakeholders, vendors, and external

technology partners. Good understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, system integrations, security

considerations, and software development processes. Practical experience using AI tools, automation, or structured

digital workflows to improve productivity and work quality. Ability to write effective prompts and provide clear

instructions to AI tools for analysis, documentation, research, coding support, and task automation. Ability to critically

review and validate AI-generated outputs before applying them to business or technical work. Able to work

independently and manage multiple projects, priorities, and workstreams. Comfortable communicating technical

matters to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive, organised, detail-oriented, and able to follow

through on tasks until completion. Strong awareness of confidentiality, data protection, cybersecurity, and responsible

use of AI tools.


RELEVANT PAST EXPERIENCE

Applicants should be able to demonstrate experience in several of the following areas: Analysing business

requirements and converting them into technical specifications or development tasks. Supporting or leading the

implementation of web applications, internal systems, business platforms, or integrated software solutions. Working

with developers to design, review, test, and improve software features. Integrating systems through APIs, webhooks,

file exchanges, or other standard integration methods. Working with relational databases, SQL queries, data structures,

and data migration or validation activities. Investigating system errors, integration failures, performance issues, and

production incidents. Coordinating software projects involving multiple teams, vendors, or external service providers.

Managing technical documentation, change requests, release notes, system diagrams, and implementation records.

Supporting user acceptance testing, quality assurance, deployment, and post-launch support. Evaluating technical

solutions and providing recommendations based on cost, feasibility, scalability, security, and maintainability.

Improving existing systems, processes, integrations, or development workflows. Using AI tools to accelerate research,

documentation, analysis, testing, coding support, reporting, or project coordination. Creating effective prompts,

reusable templates, structured workflows, or automation processes for recurring technical and administrative tasks.

Reviewing and correcting AI-generated code, documentation, analysis, or recommendations. Working in an Agile,

Scrum, or similarly structured software delivery environment. Applicants may be asked to provide examples of

previous projects, including their role, the technologies used, the challenges encountered, the AI or productivity tools

applied, how outputs were validated, and the outcome achieved.


PREFERRED CANDIDATE PROFILE

We are looking for someone who is technically competent, structured, practical, and confident in working across

different teams. The ideal candidate should have a combination of hands-on software experience, strong analytical or

coordination skills, and the ability to use modern AI and productivity tools responsibly. They should be able to

understand complex technical matters, simplify them for decision-making, and help ensure that projects move from

planning to successful execution. A strong candidate will be comfortable asking the right questions, identifying risks

early, documenting decisions clearly, writing effective prompts, validating AI-generated outputs, and working closely

with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions. The successful candidate should view

AI as a productivity and decision-support tool rather than a replacement for professional judgement. They should be

willing to continuously learn new technologies, improve working methods, and identify practical opportunities to

increase efficiency, quality, and consistency across technical projects.
